Beyond The Streets Art Exhibition in Los Angeles

I’ve never been big into the graffiti and street art scene, but the Beyond The Streets exhibition was pretty awesome and informative. I really enjoyed some of the crazy and unusual pieces that were on display.

I had no idea that there were art exhibits like this, but once I heard about it and since I’m always up for an adventure discovering new things around Los Angeles, of course I was in.

Beyond the Streets has 40,000+ square feet of art.

I learned about so many new artists like Swoon, Slick, and Huskmitnavn whose three-dimensional drawings are super cool by the way.

I learned that some street and graffiti artists have almost become mainstream. This doesn’t surprise as some of the pieces were so amazing and really got you thinking.

Take this cut in half police car for instance. How the hell did they do that?

Or the Cosmic Cavern where everything glows.

Or this room which is made entirely out of cardboard!

The place was huge and we were in there for a couple of hours. Beyond The Streets has 40,000+ square feet of art. You would turn a corner and there was another giant room full of pieces.

Tickets are $25 and the exhibition goes through July 6th. I highly recommend it to everyone, even if you initially have no interest in street art at all. It might change your perspective.
