Running the Oakland Raider 5k


I read something online about the first ever Oakland Raider 5k race. It seemed like a pretty fun idea and something a bit different. When I found out that you also got a ticket to the game the next day, I pulled out my credit card and bought a couple tickets immediately.

The race was a blast and it was super friendly having a bunch of Raider fans running a race together. There were people in costumes and Raider gear and even some former players running with us. I decided to attach my pocket camera to a pole and basically created the first ever selfie stick. It wasn’t perfect, but it got some decent footage.

After the race and game we drove north to the largest corn maze in the USA. It was so big that we got lost a few times and it took about 2 hours to finish.
